WE’RE HIRING – SCAFFOLDERS WANTED
You will need a CISRS qualification.
We’re looking for Part 1, Part 2, and Advanced Scaffolders to join our team!
* Labourers
Entry-level role; assist scaffolders with materials and setup. A great starting point for a career in scaffolding.
* Part 1 Scaffolders
Must hold a CISRS Part 1 qualification. Experience with basic scaffold erection and dismantling required.
* Part 2 Scaffolders
Must hold a CISRS Part 2 qualification. Able to handle more complex scaffold structures and work independently on site.
* Advanced Scaffolders
Must hold an Advanced CISRS qualification. Experienced in advanced structures, site leadership, and supervising others.
* HGV Licence holders will be highly regarded. Ability to transport equipment and materials is a major asset to our team.
Scaffolder Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Designing, constructing, and dismantling scaffolding structures
• Conducting safety assessments and hazard checks
• Performing regular scaffolding inspections and maintenance
• Following all safety regulations and industry standards
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to size
• Erecting safe, stable, and secure scaffolding systems
• Dismantling scaffolding once the project is completed
• Training and supervising junior scaffolders (Advanced level)
Requirements:
• Experience in scaffolding or construction-based roles
• Ability to work with a variety of tools and heavy materials
• Physically fit with good stamina – must be able to lift, carry, and climb
• Comfortable working at height (Working at Heights qualification preferred)
• Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures
• CISRS qualification (Labourer, Part 1, Part 2, or Advanced – depending on role)
• Valid CSCS card and First Aid certification desirable
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• A full UK driving licence is beneficial
• HGV Licence is a strong advantage
• Willingness to travel to various sites
